中華職棒官辦熱身賽7日熱鬧開打，統一獅在台南主場迎戰中信兄弟，兄弟「二年級生」許基宏在第4局轟出3分砲、奠定勝基，終場兄弟以5比3擊敗獅隊。

春訓火力大爆發的許基宏維持前幾戰手感，第4局對獅隊先發投手王鏡銘轟出個人熱身賽第4轟，另耐克也敲出1分打點安打，兄弟在該局灌進4分。

8局上，兄弟攻勢再起，代打陳子豪一上場就敲出2壘打，並靠王勝偉、張正偉敲安，跑回隊上第5分。

兄弟由許基宏開轟，獅隊也不遑多讓，陳鏞基在第6局對上兄弟王牌投手鄭凱文，轟出一發全壘打，不過是支低傷害的陽春砲，獅隊最終以2分之差輸球。

此戰兄弟由出去年才加盟的高中投手杜家明掛帥先發，他主投5局被敲5安，送出1次3振，沒有投出任何保送，第2局被鄧志偉敲出1分打點安打，另外出現暴投，在該局失掉2分，不過隊友火力相挺，杜家明拿下勝投。
