2014~15賽季英格蘭超級足球聯賽結束第8輪首場焦點戰，「天藍軍團」曼城主場靠阿根廷前鋒阿圭羅(Sergio Agüero)包辦進球，4比1大勝「百合白」托特納姆熱刺，鞏固積分榜第2位置。

阿圭羅第13分鐘率先破門，熱刺第15分鐘靠丹麥中場艾力克森(Christian Eriksen)進球迅速扳平，但5分鐘後阿圭羅操刀12碼球中的，讓曼城保住上半場領先。下半場熱刺罰丟12碼球錯失追平機會後，第68分鐘被紅牌罰下1人，又讓阿圭羅罰12碼得手，勝負就此底定。

完成帽子戲法後，阿圭羅在第75分鐘又錦上添花攻進單場第4球，本季累計9球追平榜首切爾西的西班牙前鋒國腳迭戈寇斯塔(Diego Costa)。曼城8輪積17分落後本輪尚未出賽的榜首切爾西2分。(王毓健／綜合報導)
