澳大利亞一隻家養貓咪在大火中救了主人性命，為此獲得『英雄』稱號。

中新網據外媒報道，41歲的克雷格‧吉維斯住在澳大利亞墨爾本，養著一隻名為莎莉的貓。當地時間1日凌晨1時許，吉維斯家中突然起火，莎莉撲在他的頭上狂叫不止，吉維斯得以及時逃出家門。

由於火勢太大，消防隊員戴著氧氣罩，用噴水管澆了足足半個多小時才將大火撲滅，房子的70%以上已經被燒毀。起火原因懷疑為加熱器過熱。吉維斯失去了全部財產，卻幸運地因為他的『英雄貓咪』撿回一命。他只吸入了少許煙塵，有一點撞傷，不需要入院治療。
