復興航空台北飛金門GE235班機，4日上午發生墜河意外，截至5日上午9時，死亡人數為31人、15人受傷、12人下落不明。不到一年之內發生2起飛機失事意外，復興航空激起民眾怒火，有網友因此上「維基百科」，將復興航空公司名稱改為「復興災難航空」。

復興航空一再發生飛安意外，每次都死傷慘重，讓民眾不敢搭乘他們公司的飛機，有網友凌晨2時到「維基百科」復興航空的資料頁面上惡搞，更改公司資料，將復興航空的名稱改為「復興空難航空」，連英文也從「TransAsia Airways」被改為「Disaster Airways」。

而復興航空的公司口號則從「飛耀甲子，龍騰萬里」被改為「不斷墜機」，補充注釋還增加「目前是台灣第三大航空公司，且為全世界最常出問題的航空公司」。

雖被管理人員發現後，一分鐘被改回來，但5日晚間7時又被改為「復興災難航空」。
