七月狂象？去年中信兄弟還是兄弟象，戰績9勝3敗，現在中信兄弟戰績6勝2敗，氣勢非凡，可是兄弟去年下半季虎頭蛇尾，最後只是第3名作收，今年的兄弟要避免重蹈覆轍。

15日在新莊進行的中信兄弟對Lamigo桃猿之戰，兄弟由王梓安先發，桃猿則由曾兆豪主投。王梓安本季戰績0勝3敗、防禦率3.21，對桃猿戰績0勝1敗、防禦率1.80，曾兆豪本季戰績0勝3敗、防禦率3.79，對兄弟戰績則是0勝1敗、防禦率4.38。

「草總」謝長亨去年開始掌兄弟兵符，上半季戰績不理想，下半季開始，兄弟7月打出氣勢，9勝3敗，排名第一，挾著這股氣勢，兄弟一路狂奔，但到9月19日掉落到第2名之後，就未曾再站上第1名，最後一洩千里，是第3名作收。
