芝加哥小熊休季期間積極補強，一壘手Anthony Rizzo豪氣地說：「就是今年了，我們會拿到國聯中區的冠軍，你們把我的話記起來。」

小熊從自由市場簽下Jon Lester，也找來「鬼才教頭」Joe Maddon擔任總教練，加上擁有一群年輕好手，讓人開始期待今年的小熊會有怎樣的表現。

Anthony Rizzo去年出賽140場，打擊三圍0.286/0.386/0.527(打擊率/上壘率/長打率)，有32支全壘打78分打點，是小熊非常倚重的一壘手。

身為球隊的主力，Anthony Rizzo對於今年的小熊很有信心，「就是今年了，打進季後賽就是我們要做的事情，我們會拿到國聯中區的冠軍，你們把我的話記起來。」

去年小熊73勝89敗在國聯中區墊底，Anthony Rizzo說：「2014年已經結束了，2013年、2012年也都是過去的事情。現在有了 Lester跟Maddon，我們會是很有競爭力的球隊。」
