曼菲斯灰熊28日確定與總教練Dave Joerger簽下延長合約，終結傳聞。

「我非常興奮能宣布這項消息，我們已經和Dave Joerger達成協議，他將繼續擔任曼菲斯灰熊的總教練。」球團老闆「黃金單身漢」Robert Pera說。

根據《CBS》報導，Joerger獲得的延長合約為2年，但球團至今尚未公布合約細節。

Joerger先前曾與明尼蘇達灰狼面試總教練職務，甚至傳出灰熊將「交易」Joerger到灰狼，換來選秀權與金錢，惹得大老闆很不高興。

「我當然很高興能繼續擔任灰熊總教練，我想感謝Robert Pera依然相信我，我100%保證會率領球隊往前走，讓我能很驕傲地稱呼曼菲斯為『家』。」Joerger說。
