衛福部食藥署代理署長姜郁美今在立法院衛環委員會表示，桃園縣政府及台北市政府已經收到來自南僑化工的補件，包括牛油證明文件是由澳洲駐台北辦事處開立，椰子油及棕櫚油則由菲律賓農業部開立的25張證明，已經請求外館與國貿局協助求證真偽。澳洲駐台辦事處晚間回覆《蘋果》電子郵件詢問時表示，已經通知桃園縣政府，根據澳洲農業當局調查顯示，這批貨品出口時有達到未精煉可食用牛油標準，符合台灣衛福部今年初頒布的規定。

澳洲駐台辦事處表示，若出口時有達到此一標準，澳洲當局就會給予該項產品合格證明。菲律賓駐台辦事處因已經是下班時間，目前無法得知相關文件真偽資訊。

《蘋果》稍早詢問我駐澳洲代表處代表張小月，張表示，接到食藥署的請求時，澳洲官方政府已經下班，她知道澳洲駐台辦事處有開示證明文件，但為求慎重，還是要等澳洲政府機構上班時，才能進一步查證；我駐菲律賓代表處則表示，相關訊息還在查證中。（陳培煌／台北報導）

The Australian Office this morning responded to an enquiry from the Taoyuan County government concerning particular shipments of beef tallow imported to Taiwan. 

We informed the Taoyuan authorities that investigation by the Australian Department of Agriculture shows that the products exported meet the requirements of the certificate for unrefined edible tallow (Declaration and Certificate for Shipments of Tallow for Further Processing) agreed with TFDA earlier this year.  If it had been a requirement at the time of export, the department would have certified this product using the certificate for unrefined edible tallow.
