社區包粽義賣助學　市長現金加碼

迎接端午節，台中市東區十甲社區發展協會今天舉行「十甲萬粽同心慶端午」愛心活動，社區媽媽親手包了5000顆粽子，義賣後捐給成功國小及育英國中各2萬元獎學金，幫助弱勢學生求學，市長胡志強也當場掏腰包加碼1萬元。
 
胡志強表示，端午節慶祝活動為數眾多，但這場活動義賣粽子，將所得幫助弱勢學童，他一定要親自參加，感謝地方民眾的熱心公益。(蔡智銘／台中報導)
