埃及舉行兩天總統大選

埃及今、明兩天舉行總統大選，當局實施大規模安全戒備，全國各地投票所外都佈署了武裝警衛，以確保選舉順利。

這次總統選舉有兩名候選人，一個是前軍事將領「賽希」將軍，另一個則是左派政壇人士「薩巴西」，一般預料，「賽希」可輕易勝選。

59歲的「賽希」曾擔任埃及國防部長，去年七月，他在群眾大規模反政府示威時，趁機將民選總統「穆西」推翻下台。隨後軍方掌權，全力打壓「穆西」所屬的「穆斯林兄弟會」，並將「兄弟會」列為非法的恐怖組織，逮捕多名兄弟會領導及會員。

這次選舉，「賽希」強調將致力發展農業、教育，並改善經濟、加強就業，他獲得多個政黨及大企業的支持，應可篤定勝選。(賽希照片取材自網路)
