世界大賽居功厥偉的「功夫熊貓」Pablo Sandoval，封王遊行時發出「生涯巨人」宣言，考驗巨人球團的談判功力和銀彈。

「希望未來職棒生涯，都穿著這件球衣，」成為自由球員的Sandoval說，「我會遵照心裡的想法，決定動向。」

巨人近5年拿3冠，Sandoval前年獲得世界大賽MVP，今年季後賽打擊率0.366，並在世界大賽貢獻4分打點。本季例行賽成績是：打擊率0.279、16發全壘打、73分打點。

「我喜歡在這裡打球，喜歡這裡的球迷，喜歡隊友們，」Sandoval說，「他們教我尊敬比賽、打好比賽，還有很多事情。」
