旅美投手陳偉殷、王維中24日晚間搭乘華航CI008班機，赴美備戰新球季，兩人將一同前往所屬波拉斯經紀公司位於橘郡（Orange County）的私人訓練中心進行自主訓練。

陳偉殷、王維中在22點抵達機場，吸引大批球迷等候，陳偉殷也熱情地紛紛替球迷簽名，擁有台版李敏鎬之稱的王維中則是吸引許多女粉絲爭相合照。

今赴美備戰新球季，陳偉殷妻兒並無隨行，他表示：「老婆還在調養身體，現在離春訓還有一個月，到時他們會再與我會合。」

陳偉殷預計2月20向金鶯報到，談到新球季展望，他認為數據不是重要指標，較在意能健康打完一整季：「健康出賽，撐完一整個球季，我覺得是比較實在的事。」

王維中則在2月21日向釀酒人報到，將一同參加大聯盟春訓，今年預定由小聯盟2A出發。

至於王維中的新球季目標，他表示，成績要超越前輩陳偉殷還太早，現階段慢慢學習，不操之過急。

這次陳偉殷返台停留時間較短，不過參與許多活動，讓他感覺特別充實，特別是與王維中一同參加動物之家的公益活動：「這次回來，印象最深刻就是去參加動物之家的公益活動，維中也一起參加，我覺得很特別。」
