【詹智淵／彰化報導】彰化員林地區下午4時許開始下起驟雨，強大的雨勢讓員林鎮山腳路一帶淹水及膝，不少廠房與房屋淹水，民眾苦不堪言，不少車輛冒險涉水通過，掀起陣陣水波。

張姓民眾說只要下大雨當地就淹水，反應皆無下文，實在無奈。還有彰化客運駕駛冒險通過後說馬路前後都淹水、進退無路，為讓旅客順利返家，只好硬著頭皮硬上，「不然要怎麼辦，要等到半夜嗎？」
