經部次長卓士昭：盼台美洽簽BIA

2014年「美國商機日」今登場，經濟部次長卓士昭致詞時表示，政府正積極推動加入TPP（Trans-Pacific Partnership，跨太平洋夥伴協定）及洽簽台美BIA（Bilateral Investment Agreement，雙邊投資協定），除政府盡全力推動，也希望藉助企業界力量向美政府遊說，以爭取美方支持。

為推動台美雙邊經貿關係，並助業者爭取訂單，經濟部昨舉行美國商機日活動，邀13家美國買主、10家美國賣家來台，希望透過採購政策說明會及一對一採購洽談會，促銷雙方優質產品及促成企業聯盟。

卓士昭表示，美國商機日活動提供台美間交流平台，可促進台美政府與企業間及雙方業者間交流互動，希望活動的規模一年比一年大。

至於台美洽簽BIA是否獲得美方正面回應，卓士昭表示，美方認為「這個是正確方向」，但雙方還需要各自努力。(黃馨儀／台北報導)
