台南市議員謝龍介今天在議會上質詢市長賴清德，指賴曾以政治生命保證前民進黨秘書長吳乃仁、前立委洪奇昌清白，如今吳判刑9月、洪無罪，要求賴清德願賭服輸，辭去市長職務。賴清德反嗆，「你也說過如果判有罪，你要辭，你有氣魄先辭」。

結果謝龍介辭職，但賴清德沒辭。下午台南市議會研議，依台南市議會組織自治條例第六條，議員辭職，應以書面提出，送達議會後即行生效。因此謝龍介今起解除議員職務，且不遞補。
