日將發射衛星 調查天災損害

（法新社東京22日電） 日本預計24日發射測地衛星，以調查天災帶來的損害及影響雨林的改變。

日本宇宙航空研究開發機構（JAXA）表示，日本H-IIA火箭24日中午過後，將載送ALOS-2衛星升空。

JAXA說，ALOS-2能監測天災留下的痕跡，以及重建的進展。

JAXA計畫主管在聲明中說，這枚新衛星「主要將對地球陸地區域進行仔細健檢」。

這位主管表示，ALOS-2將搜集與地球地殼損害有關的資訊，以及瞭解洪水和山崩帶來的衝擊。（譯者：中央社蔡佳伶）
