Google砸300億　要用衛星提供網路服務

根據《華爾街日報》報導，Google（谷歌）將花費10億美元（300億台幣）以上在人造衛星發射業務，企圖在全球無網路連線區域提供網路服務。
 
Google初期將有180個小型高效能的人造衛星發射計劃，這些人造衛星將以較傳統衛星低的高度繞行地球。
 
Google不斷鑽研新技術以提供地球上偏遠區域網路服務，已經開始針對氫氣球作為網路連線供應設備。
 
Google在網路服務新技術供應上具有競爭對手，facebook（臉書）正針對利用飛行機器人、衛星等計劃進行研發。（王秋燕／綜合外電報導）
